I came into class today and saw that the projector screen was torn and now it has a huge asymmetrical gash in it.

What happened? Did a student go on a rampage and throw a knife at it or something? It is over twelve feet in the air so that would be a bit hard to do.

Did it just get caught on the blackboard somehow?

Does anyone know?
