I've noticed a lot of people use "guys" for any group of people lately. But this is growing tiring because you don't hear the different terms for different groups of people. There are no more "men," "women," "boys," "girls," "ladies," "gentlemen," "young men," "young ladies," "friends," "lovers," "foes," "respected elders." Just a bunch of GUYS! I've even caught myself referring to inanimate objects as guys. Somebody be The Guy and stop this incessant use of "guys"!
