Hyphenated Marriage names?

I read a Yahoo! article recently about women hyphenating their names when they get married instead of dropping their last name in favor of the man's last name. The article is pretty biased (and kind of childish), but the concept is not. I wanted to know what the myUMBC community thinks about this.
