Internships in Africa
Intern Abroad!!

Hey Everyone!
So as a HAPP Major I thought it would be great to give out information on an internship I did abroad in Sierra Leone During December 2012. It was with International Planed Parenthood Federation and I found it through an organization called African Community Internship Placement Program(ACIPP). Let's just say it was a wonderful experience that i'm glad I got to take part of, it was so great that i'm going again this December. ACIPP is a non-profit organization that places people with NGO's in Sierra Leone, Ghana and Liberia. The internships they offer include Health, Human Rights, Youth Development, Agriculture, Media, Performing Arts and Political Science & Development Economics. There is a fee associated with the internship placement, but I think its worth every penny and its also a great addition to your resume. For more information you can visit their website www.acippwestafrica.org or contact Imma Mäder at I.Mader@acippwestafrica.org.
