The way that the cable is set up currently, if more channels are added, some of equal or greater cost have to be taken away. It is not as simple as merely switching one station for another. 2 years ago, a survey was sent out to all resident students through RSA, asking what channels, if any, residents would like to see added. The responses favored CSN and HGTV heavily, and they were added to the lineup. The cable is generally reevaluated every few years, so next year might warrant another survey, depending on what the scheduling of ResLife and DoIT looks like. That would be your best opportunity to try to make a push for stations like BBC America and Fox Soccer.
