This morning at around 11:30 two helicopters began hovering over campus. As of 11:55 they are still there. I wouldn't have thought much of it, except for that when I went outside, two UMBC Police cars (one cruiser and one van) raced down Walker avenue, seemed to patrol the Westhill apartment area for a brief moment, and then raced away.

It seems odd and I'm curious.

Did anyone see something similar?
