Somewhere safe, affordable, CLEAN, with bed and AC/Heating

I may be entering a graduate program at UMBC so I need to start looking for off campus housing.
I am looking for either a room in someone's house, a single apartment, or if the rent is really high, then a roommate to bring the cost down. I would prefer a private room with a lock. I would move in early June and then need a one year lease. I don't like dogs. Cats are ok. No smoking. I am flexible with noise, just that it should be quiet by midnight.
