Thinking about the absolute truth

Have you ever thought about absolute truth? Then how will we determine the truth in society?
Some mathematicians may calculate 1+1 is equal to 2. But this result is wrong when it come to case of married; husband plus wife result a son/daughter. In this case, the equation would have to come 1+1 is equal to 3. This is just an example.
When a specific time is right in the west part of the world it is absolutely wrong in Asia.
Things in one religious perspective may be right for that religion, but it may be wrong for the other. So, do we have a common truth or absolute truth in this little global village?
