Stolen Lacrosse Equipment (Paw please!)
posted almost 12 years ago
So someone broke my car's window and stole my lacrosse bag. It all happened at Walker garage, sometime between 2am and 4pm on Saturday.
It contained a black helmet, green gloves, white armpads, black shoulderpads, a pair of Nike cleats, and my jersey. Everything was worth a total of $500, so it's not a minor setback.
The thieves likely took all identifiable stickers off the helmet, so it should look like: http://i.imgur.com/daGU7Vb.png but if they left it on, it has my number (16) on it with the UMBC logo and some MD flag patterning. The helmet with stickers look like: http://i.imgur.com/ReJcLN0.png
My jersey is the most important item, since getting a replacement is near impossible. It's black or white (it's reversible), has a big "16" on the back and the UMBC club lacrosse logo on the front. It looks like: http://i.imgur.com/v5SZDLq.png
There are no duplicates in this world, so if you see it, then it is mine and confront them about it. Or at least get a photo of their face or their name if you don't want to forcefully take it from them.
If you can keep a lookout, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a lot of history with this equipment, and it makes me furious that someone would do something as petty as this.
If you see anyone walking around with a helmet/jersey like that, then get as much information as you can about them, or if you want you can confront them about it.
The varsity lacrosse team has different helmets (which are yellow or white), and my teammates have their own number on their helmets/jerseys so it shouldn't be hard to determine whether the item is mine or not.
Thanks in advance, please paw!
