I am researching on a hot topic issue in today's corporate world. Most of you who are about to graduate and enter into the corporate world will find how our corporate world has been changed due to the increasing use of mobile devices in work place. Now, many companies allow their employees to use tablets, smart phones, laptops and desktops to do their work at the office,at home and while they are traveling. The traditional 9-5 office hours are now meaningless in the highly competitive corporate world. Companies now want to be in touch with their employees 24/7 and 365 days a year through mobile devices.According to Forrsights Networks And Telecommunications Survey, Q1 2011, show that 64% of firms in Europe and North America identify providing more mobility support for employees as a top priority. 

             In my day job, I work for a company which encourages their employees to work from home and stay connected 24/7 rather than set office hours. Generally,I find most of my fellow employees are satisfied with this setting. As,I am preparing for one of my graduate classes this semester, this particular topic has been chosen to be discussed in our class debate. Now, I want to see how our UMBC community think of using mobile devices in today's work place.
