The Spanish Inquisition as it never happened
Build your team! Get out alive!
A magical time warp has sucked our MyUMBC poster children into a vortex of wtf-ness! We have landed into a thick, oppressive time, filled with Inquisitiony people doing Inquisitiony things. The food totally sucks too! The horror!
The board has spoken, and decided that few among us have the strength to reach the vortex again (which for some reason flew away a bunch of miles) to push the magic button that will rescue us all.
An elite team must be formed. The rest of the MyUMBC forumites shall remain in hiding in a dark stinky cave eating their own toenails till the elite team can reach the vortex and push the button thingy. With any luck, the stinky cave will not be discovered before the team can complete the task...if they even can at all!
The goal is simple: reach the vortex to push the button. The means? Well that is tricky. We come armed with our current personal skills and knowledge, but only the clothes on our backs. Nothing can be magically created, only built using the tools available at the time. Move stealth-like or rage on in a blaze of glory? You decide!!!
But first we must build the elite team. We need:
1. The Fearless Leader: Give orders and devise tactics. This person must be calculating and not afraid to speak up to delegate work. They must keep their team on track, and see all possible opposition and adjust accordingly.
2. Intel and Design: Analyze situations and prepare possible strategies, assessing risk and outcome. Utilizes the tools available (physical tools or psychological tools) to facilitate the group's success. Can either blend in, hide, or create diversions.
3. Weapons: Build weapons, use weapons, eat weapons...you name it! This person is strong, aggressive but clever. Waste is not an option. This person isn't afraid of going "balls out" for their mission, and never loses their cool under pressure.
4. Keepin' it Real: Where an extra hand is needed, this person is there. They are the necessary facilitator. While they lack a specialty like the others, they see the forest from the trees and provide an objective viewpoint on all tasks.
Ready? Pick your members. (Seriously I mean your team. Gross.)
