An annoying problem that I hope gets fixed soon....

Does this sound familiar to you?
I have a laptop, which I use frequently (it's new/in good condition, not that that's relevant), especially to go on the internet. Usually, that's just fine and dandy- I can even get on easily at school. Or, at least...That last bit was true up until a few days ago. Ever since Monday, I haven't been able to log into the school's wifi networks (either UMBC Campus or UMBC Visitor) at all from my laptop. The kicker is, my laptop doesn't seem to be the problem- i can log onto the 'net just fine via my home wifi network. I don't think it's a browser issue, either, since of all three internet browsers on my laptop (Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer), NONE of them are able to access the internet.
I've spoken to the people at the DoIT help desk in the campus library, but they're just as stumped as I am. I currently have a service ticket entered...Hopefully this gets sorted out soon.
If anyone has an idea for how to potentially fix this issue, please let me know in the comments. I've heard from the DoIT folks that there are multiple people trying to deal with the same issue, so you'd be helping more than just one person via your input.
Thanks!
