Vending and money to card machines
Really UMBC? Why are you forcing us to use campus cards?

So you can't use credit cards to buy anything from any vending machine, why? Even community colleges have that option. Most money to card machines are not working and they don't take coins. The CIC can only add cash, but can't add coins. There is no possible way to print if you have coins, but don't have dollar bills to add to your card. My friend was just telling me, he bought a book at the bookstore and paid cash, but when he didn't want the book and returned they gave him his refund as money on his card not CASH. If you think all of this is not enough then listen to this. In order to buy a pen or pencil
from the UMBC library vending machine,
you can only use campus card(no cash and no credit cards). But wait this
not the most stupid thing. The most stupid thing is you can only buy
something if you have money on your card to buy the most expensive thing
in the machine. So if you wanna buy something that cost $2 you can't,
you have to have at least $6.10 in your card to buy your $2 item........
This is just ridiculous and completely inconvenience, why the heck would I put $6 on my campus card if I only need to buy a pen for 2 bucks. Am I the only one who thinks this is really stupid?
