Summer 2013 Bio Research Opportunity in San Francisco
posted almost 12 years ago
Hey all,
I want to let you know of an amazing summer research program in the biological sciences I completed in Summer 2011 that you can apply for. The Biological Research in Ecological and Evolutionary Developmental Biology (BREED) program at San Francisco State University matches you with a mentor and you do research in his/her laboratory from June 4th to August 9th in San Francisco, CA, and take part in group activities and trips too. Besides the wonderful views and life outside the lab, you will be compensated $5000 with extra based on certain factors (see site for more details). The application deadline is 2/15/2013.
I recommend that science students apply because I had a really positive experience with the people, research, trips, etc... If you're interested, more details and the application can be found on the official website: http://biology.sfsu.edu/faculty-pages/reu and be sure to check out the flyer. Also, if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me at itamar2@umbc.edu. Good luck on finals!
