I have recently been going to the little bar across from the mars on maiden choice called penguins and thought I should enlighten some of you on its awesomeness. Only reason I am doing this is because i am saddened that i keep getting invites to Center Court and Depaolas. Penguins is not a very flashy place, but is by far the cheapest and friendliest place to get beer from in the area with some solid food. I was there Monday; Played some pool/watched football, got a few $1 drafts, 50 cent wings, a few two dollar shots ( I prefer the pickle shots), and a 10 percent student discount on top of that. I was very impressed with the lack of center court type people and even a few other students stopped by. Almost every day they have some sort of special. I will definitely be back Wednesday for a $5 pitcher of yuengling and 50 cent wings and could use some more friendly faces to talk to.
