House near umbc on shuttle line with 2 rooms for rent
posted almost 12 years ago
I'm a recent UMBC grad and own a big town house near campus which has two rooms available, one now, and one January 1st. It's on the campus shuttle route and close to campus. It's a end house, and you'll have access to your room, plus the whole house, kitchen, laundry, pool table, deck/porch, bbq, couches galore, and garden plot if you're interested.
I live in NYC now, but I come visit sometimes since the guys who rent from me are my friends, plus my family lives in town. I'm sure you'll love it. Let me know at tblatt@gmail.com and we can discus more facebook.com/tblatt
There are two rooms available. One is an upstairs bedroom with a window and closet. I'm asking $530 per month for that, including utilities. This room has a queen-size bed and a night stand. The bathroom is just outside the door and it has a shower/bathtub, toilet and sink.
The basement room is small and not finished (pegboard walls, open ceiling), but you get a lot more privacy. It's basically just a big closet, but might be right for someone looking for a cheap place to crash and save some money. Outside of the basement room is a large couches, pool table, laundry room, and half-bath. So while the actual room is small, you get a lot more space outside the room. Depending on your lifestyle, some people prefer this room. It doesn't have a window and is more for a quiet sleeping chamber/study area. I'm asking for $380/month for this one, also including utilities. There is an old twin bed in this room, and a small table.
The main floor of the house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, kitchen eating area, and back porch. There's Verizon Fios wifi included too, and a ethernet connection in the basement room.
