47
Cosmic irony leaves toothmarks on a backside.

Romney's notorious 47% remark unquestionably helped cost him the election. Labeling 47% of the electorate as self-perceived victims and moochers seems imprudent when you're running for office.
Twenty days after the General Elections, a few votes remain untabulated, but the end is near.
To quote a Washington Post article,
"According to the latest numbers tallied by David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report, President Obama has expanded his share of the popular vote to 50.8 percent, while Romney has fallen to 47.49 percent."
[n.b., Since the WaPo article, the tally has fallen to 47.43%]
With round-off, that's 47%.
Richard Metzger, on his Dangerous Minds blog, views this as payback with compound interest.
Seeing as how Metzger titled his squib "God rubs Mitt Romney's nose in karmic dogshit", far be it from me to suggest that I share in his obvious vindictive glee over an ironic twist in the fall of one once thought mighty.
I do not suggest it.
The fool had it coming.
