Tiramisu is my fave pick-me-up dessert; it is an old old recipe subject to much interpretation.  I have never been disappointed by *any* serving of it.

After repeated rounds of vulture capitalism looted Hostess and its pension funds, the company is gone.  Big surprise there.

The Twinkie recipe is in public domain and may be copied endlessly.

Or, cooks can elaborate on it, leave out the HF corn syrup + polysorbate-80 and serve up some outstanding variations.

As it is with tiramisu, let it be so with Twinkies.

"Variations", I said.  Add chocolate somewhere.  Add raspberry flavor to the filling.  Just do one thing differently that pleases you.
