ENGL 451, AMST 325, HIST 495
how much work do these classes entail?

Has anyone taken:
ENGL 451 with Stevens (Seminar in Major Writers)
AMST 325 (Studies in Pop Culture)
or
HIST 495 with Meringolo (Seminar in Amer. History)?
I need to drop one of the three and would preferably like to get rid of whichever has the greatest workload.

I'm in 451 right now, with our preeminent English Prof.,Dr.Falco. It is a very serious course. If you want to take it (even with a different Prof.) be prepared to give this class your absolute best effort.
The senior level English courses at UMBC are NO JOKE.
DO NOT take ENGL 451 unless you are prepared to put forth serious, concerted effort for the entire duration of the class.
