Here's a fun fact for you guys: the 14 of 15 lowest [median] income states in the U.S. voted Republican, for Mitt Romney, and the 17 of 20 highest [median] income states in the U.S. voted Democratic, for President Barack Obama. New Mexico, the 8th lowest [median] income state, voted Democratic, and Alaska (2nd highest), Wyoming (13th highest), and Utah (14th highest) voted Republican.
