My doctoral dissertation was based on the experiences of Mixed Race/ Multiethnic college students. I was moved by the article below posted on the NY Times website about the University of Maryland's Multiracial and Biracial Student Organization. 

I noticed that UMBC does not have a similar organization. In my previous employment I was asked to serve as an Advisor to a similar group of Multiracial and Biracial college students. I found this work to be very fruitful. 

Therefore, I wanted to see if there were any students who self-identified as Mixed Race, Multiracial/Multiethnic, Biracial, Transnational/Transracial Adoptees, etc. and who would also be interested in creating a student organization. At the very least I am interested in connecting current UMBC students to each other and having in-depth discussions. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
