So I actually went to my first class of the spring semester which was supposed to start at 4 and I was the only one there. I even checked my e-mail on my phone before driving over there... After waiting around for 15 minutes, i decided to check my myumbc account on one of the computers in the building. I finally find out that any classes after 4 were cancelled today and it was posted as an ALERT. who even reads alerts?! I can't even check those from my phone. Anyways so then it takes me 3.5 hours to get home because of traffic and accidents. It took 2.5 hours just to get through the last half a mile to my house and I abandoned my car in a parking lot 1/4 of a mile away from my house because the traffic was just stuck. It was ridiculous! They better cancel classes tomorrow. If they don't or if I think they don't, I'm just staying home so that I don't have the same thing happen again tomorrow.
