Organic chem/High level Bio

So what is it about Organic Chemistry and high level biology courses that people hate so much? I just went to my bank and the guy there told me he switched majors from biology to economics just because of Organic chemistry. Currently I have taken chem 101 and biology 141 and got an A and a high B in biology. Professor Sokolove told us that the difficulty should match that of higher level courses so should I be alright, or should I expect something out of a Stephen King book? I'm a biology major so I'll have to deal with these courses eventually which is why I ask. If people who already have taken these courses could answer, I'd really appreciate it :).
