Generic myUMBC political thread
A template for our political and religious disputes...

After all the battles we have had on various topics, I think it's about time that we consolidated all of these threads into a nice little package. However, rather than picking a particular topic to start with, let's make this into a game. This mad lib-esque setup will be perfect when making future posts. Newcomers can see firsthand how we do things here and it is a good way to take an honest look at ourselves.
So, let's begin. I'll number the blanks, leave a key for what should be entered. and then post my own ideas for possible choices. Feel free to add your own and then we can have a "discussion" about them.
First, for the post itself:
On the topic of 1)_________:
By 2)________
(optional: Sponsored by 3)_______)
This clearly unbiased and non-agenda pushing article from 4)________ provides a concrete and non-partisan study that proves my/our view on 1)______. If you read this, it will be immediately self-evident how the other side is totally wrong and uses only biased and dishonest propaganda to deceive the public. Since my side never does this, it should be crystal clear that my side is the right side.
(optional: Copy text from article in 4)________)
(optional: Include flawed poll here)
Now that we have the post itself set up, let's explore the typical types of responses. For the sake of our readers, I will simply boil everything down to it's core essence:
Opponent of OP 1: 5)_________
OP: Says you! You are wrong because 6)_________.
Another Opponent: This is the worst research ever! Your source(s) are 7)_____, and call yourself a 8)______?!
Ally of OP: You shut up, you're mad just because 9)_________. Go OP!
Different Person Entirely: 10)____________
*Other people jump into the fray*
*cycle continues until troll posts begin, eventually leading to...*
Someone: You are 11)_______, go 12)_________, 13)________

*butthurt ensues*
*Random Poster posts random item. 50-50 chance of it being funny depending on who it is*
Frustrated Reader(s): That's it, I have had it with these motherfuckin' fights on this motherfuckin' thread!
*more troll posts and more butthurt*
*wash, rinse, repeat*
I'll post my ideas for filling in those blanks shortly. The best ones for each number will be listed here.
