Ever since day one of move-in, my ethernet port did not work in the Walker apartments. I created a ticket thought Walker, got queued to OIT, then to Phone & Cabling, and finally to OIT.
When I connect my Ethernet cable into my laptop, I get no network detection whatsoever. The laptop detects the signal, but I can't connect to resnet.
When I do get the occasional network detection, the server stops and I lose connection.
Why am I paying for something that I don't receive? Do I get a refund for no internet connection, or is UMBC going to troll me and never fix the problem?
