Grade Change?

Let's hear from graduate students who have tried to get a final grade for a class changed.
The professor handed back our final exams and I noticed there were multiple choice answers that I had answered correctly according to the slides and the book, but the professor had a different (according to the slides, book, and industry) answer key.
Upon reviewing these discrepancies with the professor, he suggested that if he were to up my multiple choice grade, he'd go ahead and take off from my paper (which is highly subjectively graded btw)
I'm a little hesitant to go forth with the official grade dispute process because I fear it will damage my relationship with the professor. I have him for 2 more classes this semester and he's a subjective grader.
So back to the question at hand. Anyone have experience dealing with grade changes? Have you gone through the process? Did it damage your relationship with the professor?
