Alright so I was just shown an interesting website today. While I may not agree with everything posted, it was thought provoking at the very least.

This is not the only site to point out striking similarities between Obama's views and Romney's. Factcheck.org is full of information concerning the striking similarities between the two on Medicare and the Affordable Healthcare Act. It also shows differences too, but it is up to the reader to decide if the differences are nearly as great as the ads want us to believe.
Honestly, I think this is important for anyone voting simply because they think their candidate isn't the other guy. The same goes if they think that their candidate is simply the lesser of two evils.
What do you think?

I guess this is kind of the blessing and curse of being independent, because I don't spend my time watching propaganda against either candidate, the facts being laid out like this don't really shock me or anything; but in the same vein my hope for immediate change is pretty low. The way I see it, Obama isn't horribly in/competent, and Romney isn't a godsend business genius or an unfeeling 1%. Both politicians would hold a relatively limited amount of power as president, and probably bow down to whatever their party wishes, which is more or less going to be corporate/lobbyist interests.
That being said, I'm probably going to vote independent or Obama, because the GOP is kind of unrespectable at this point in history.
