Hair Cut / Salon for asian hair male

Hey can anyone recommend a place that can cut and style asian male hair?
I'm always wary when it comes to getting haircuts because more often then not the stylist is pretty bad.
I figure its their experience with asian hair. Anyways my hair has gotten long and I wanted to get a short haircut, 2 problems.
1 - obviously finding an appropriate place to get the haircut
2 - finding a place that does "side perms"
I had one done in korea because, my short hair sticks straight out, the stylist said she would do a side perm to flatten the hair.
In anycase I'm looking for a place that is a bit experienced with asian hair and contemporary styles if possible.
If anyone could recommend such a place that'd be great.
