Quiet, large 2nd floor apartment roughly 1.5 mi from UMBC.

Second floor apartment of a rather large (and very old) house on Newburg Ave in Catonsville. Safe street, possibly one of the safest areas for miles. I have lived here for a year and have not had any problems.
The house was modified to facilitate multiple apartments, so this means each apartment has its own washer/dryer, electric, water, gas, entrance.
It is a very quiet place; the 80 year old landlord lives below with his wife, and a ~50 year old woman lives above.
I am an older student, M, 27, work full time, attend classes part time. Not a smoker or drinker.
You would have the larger of the rooms, with West & North facing windows.
No pets, no kids. The landlord smokes, but only outside.
$550 deposit, $600/mo rent - Utilities included.
