Immigrants Voting Rights in France
not a citizen, not a problem

The prime minister of the new elected socialist French government has recently announced a myriad of reforms to take place in France with the dawning of the new government. One of these reforms is to be the right for immigrants (non-citizens) who have been in France legally for 5 or more years, to vote in local elections. I found this extremely interesting and wondered what some of you here think about this reform.
