I love the United States of America. I truly believe that we are the greatest nation in the World, and that we have a duty to protect our nation, and to build ourselves up.
I disagree with some of the patriots here, but I don't think us being the best is a god given right, I feel that it is through the hard work of the American people.
Being at UMBC, I feel this is extremely relevant. People have said it before that America is a nation of immigrants. Many at UMBC may be first, second, nth generation Americans, but the important thing is their Americans. They came to the greatest nation under the sun.
July 4th is fantastic. Commercial free radios, baseball, cookouts, fireworks, celebrating the greatest nation on earth.
I hope everyone has a great fourth of July, and remembers that through us busting it is why the United States of America is the best place to live.
