Duration of admission acceptance

How long is my admission acceptance last long? I got accepted for fall 12 and i want to start my class next year may be spring or fall. is it possible to do like that so that i can take some general classes in community college. Due to having some family issues, i can not able to attain UMBC right now. if i go UMBC ri8 now, i will add another headache at present time. I need little time to settle down everything

I think it would be best to contact the office of financial aid. They should be able to answer your questions. If I were you I would contact the financial aid offices at both institutions, to make sure you have covered all bases and that the information you receive is consistent.
