Ever since the Newtown massacre, the MSM have inundated us with the usual "Conservative" causes of this massacre. Guns were the reason! Lack of mental health services was the cause!

But has anyone stopped to examine possible (dare I say) "liberal" causes to this massacre. Now, before anyone starts to type away, I don't mean that liberals or liberal philosophy caused this massacre or had blood on their hands, anymore than conservatives could be blamed in the same way.

Consider:

We know that the shooter was an avid gamer and played shooter games non-stop. What role did video games play in the life of the killer, and did it have an effect on the mass killings? Did he know the difference between reality and video games? Should we have a mental health exam before we let the public buy video games?

What about the role of Hollywood in this massacre? Did the degradation of our human values and desensitization of life as portrayed on TV and in the movies play a role?

It has also been reported in the media that the killer's father was not a big part of his son's life. Could the absence of a father in the house have contributed to the killer's abnormal behavior? We know through research that lack of a father in the household dramatically increases the likelihood of criminal activity in adolescent teens. Was Dan Quayle right that it takes a father and a mother to raise a child?

I don't have any evidence supporting these questions. I just throw them out there for consumption.
