Fundamentalism and Zionism.
Quick definition:
Fundamentalism (wrt Christianity): the belief that the Bible, being the foundation of Christian belief, is the most important thing to consider when defining your beliefs. Fundamentalism places the Bible at the core of doctrine, rather than extra-Biblical ideas.
Why is this a bad thing?
Zionism: the idea that since Jews are the ancestral inhabitants of Israel, having continuously occupied it, with little exception, between 1400 BC and 71 AD, and considering that literally every other country on earth contains is unsafe for them to live in, that they deserve the right to have somewhere to live and to be protected from being utterly annihilated.
Sounds fair. Why is this a bad thing?
Would love to hear people's answers.
