Higher One Again!
...but, of course
I was wondering how many of you received the following today:
"Effective on or after May 4, 2012, pursuant to your Account Terms and Conditions The Bancorp Bank will transfer the full balance of your account directly to Wright Express Financial Services Corporation. Wright Express Financial Services Corporation is a Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insured depository institution. After your account is transferred, The Bancorp Bank will have no further responsibility as the depository institution for your account, and your account will be subject to terms and conditions offered by Higher One and Wright Express Financial Services Corporation.
Wright Express Financial Services Corporation is a Utah industrial bank, offering negotiable order of withdrawal (NOW) checking accounts. As a result, the product type of your Account will change from a demand deposit account to a NOW checking account. Although the bank has no intentions of exercising this right, federal regulations require that the bank reserves the right to require at least seven days prior written notice of your intent to withdraw or transfer funds in your NOW checking account. Your existing Account Terms and Conditions already include this right to require prior written notice, so this concept is not new.
To facilitate this change in bank partner, your account will be subject to a new agreement with updated terms and conditions. The choice of law governing the agreement will change from Connecticut to Utah."
What do you think?
