So I'm writing an article about this topic for the Retriever and I was wondering how you guys feel about it? Oregon's Court of Appeals not too long ago overturned its state's University System's policy against allowing guns on campus. In doing so, Oregon has now joined the ranks of other states like Utah and Colorado. Like a lot of issues in our political culture, this one also seems to be a highly contested "grudge match" between the two opposing pro-and-anti-gun sides. With newly gained momentum, I would not be surprised if the pro-gun side might take action to enact these kinds of laws in other states as well. So how would you guys feel about be something like this at UMBC? Would you feel safer with either yourself or other people carrying guns? Or would you feel generally unsafe? Or rather, do you have mixed feelings about this?
