I read online about Higher One that you do not have to sign up with the student refund card. And then it goes on to continue that if you do not, you will get mailed a check. Is this true?

I REALLY don't want to deal with a third party to get the refund money.

What are your ways of dealing with Higher One?

A.	Each time Higher One receives money for you they will send you an email reminding you to activate your card. They will wait 21 days and if you still have not activated it, they will mail you a check.
