They're really annoying.

Why are these random 5 month old topics suddenly reappearing in my news feed? Not that anyone here knows, but it just seemed odd to me. And, there isn't a date on discussions until you actually open the thread... I hope the new MyUMBC (or whatever it is) doesn't have this problem.
