If you haven't heard already:
TL;DR
Basically, Cee-lo changes the lyrics of John Lennon's "Imagine" to read "All religions are true", instead of "...no religion too". This caused Lennon fans aka your parents to fly into a rage. Which, to me, is hilarious.
What I want to discuss, is the irony of it all. John Lennon wrote that song because he wanted to see more unity among people. In his view, religion hinders that unity. That is why he excluded it. The irony is, by Cee-lo trying to be inclusive, actually proved why Lennon wanted religion excluded in the first place, it created division.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this event.
