Are You For or Against SOPA?

I think that this is an important issue and was curious to hear your views on it.
My own reservations about this act are:
-It is unenforceable, imo, because it will essentially end up in a "cat and mouse" chase between the government and people hosting copyrighted materials. The government will keep blacklisting websites which violate this act, and the owners of such sites will keep registering them under new names. Ex: if MyAntiSopaWebsite.com gets blacklisted by the authorities, what's to stop someone from making MyAntiSopaWebsite2.com or MyAntiSopaWebsite1337.com to get around the ban?
-According to what I've read, this law will only apply to the U.S., so going back to my earlier example, if MyAntiSopaWebsite.com gets banned in the United States, the rest of the world will still be able to view it!. I can't help but draw parallels to other nations like China, Iran, and Pakistan, who try to keep their people in the dark by trying to limit the flow of information available to them. Censorship is a slippery slope.
-Lastly, this law is so easy to get around that it will be used as a stepping stone for other more draconian laws. If this law were to be passed today, many people, would be able to get around it by simply using offshore DNS hosts (See: "How SOPA could actually break the internet"). Then, failing to enforce such an act, congress will probably be pushed by lobbyists to pass newer and more "robust" laws which will add more and more measures to prevent citizens from accessing "questionable" materials.
In conclusion, crimes like stealing or pirating can never be stopped just because a law says that they should be stopped. If the people back in the 50s were able to pirate vinyl records, I doubt that with all of technology we have today, piracy would go away just because of SOPA. Meanwhile though, we have to call our Congressmen and Senators to let them know that we are not okay with having our rights being taken away bit-by-bit (pun intended!).
