Indefinite Detention of U.S. citizens is almost a reality.

This is something I think the community should be made aware of.
The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 allows American citizens suspected of any "belligerent" act to be held without trial in Guantanamo Bay-style prisons for any alleged crimes. You can bet that this violates your rights. The bill has already made its way through the House and the Senate, passing in the upper house 97-3.
