Small changes at UMBC can make a huge difference
Keep it simple

I'm graduating in December and through my time at UMBC I've seen a number of large student centered movements that try to improve our university. Things like ProveIt, the Chick-Fil-A addition, and numerous changes to reslife policy come into mind. However, I was in the library tonight and noticed something. I can't remember the last time the toilet in the first floor mens room wasn't broken....this simple toilet has been broken all semester......
It got me thinking: UMBC prides itself on large scale civic movements that help students, faculty, and administration co-create our experience. Yet, I'm sure there are a number of small improvements the University can make that will better the student experience.
Fix the toilet on the first floor of the library UMBC. I'm sure there is some sort of extreme plumbing or budget issue that prevents this but the little things in life go a long way.
What else can you think of?
