Hello all!
As I'm sure most of you have heard, UMBC has decided to begin issuing refunds in a different way then they have done in the past. The Higher One cards were chosen to make the refund process be a quicker and more efficient one than state-issued paper checks that we have been used to in the past.  I was curious to know whether or not anyone already activated their cards yet or not? Have any of you been able to begin to use them? I'm sure having a debit card with all your funds in it on campus has been at least somewhat convenient.

Any input would be great!
