What is the future of the myUMBC discussion forum?

Over the course of the past two years, the myUMBC Discussion Boards have become a lively part of student life, spurring conversations in both online and offline settings. The activity there has also spurred some questions about both the purpose of the boards and the moderation of them. True to the spirit of UMBC, we believe that in the importance of coming together as a community to discuss both the challenges and opportunities the discussion boards provide.
Please consider this an official invitation for both you and your organization to come to the feedback forum tomorrow, December 1st @ 4:00pm in theSkylight Lounge. This will be an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts with student leaders, UMBC administrators, key staff and faculty, and myUMBC users.
