Macbook users on campus, think you could help me out?

ok, so here's the deal. I bought a macbook from a friend because well, i needed a mac for classes but well, couldn't afford one straight out.
even still, after buying it, I'm broke. like, REALLY broke.
it worked fine for about 3 days then the problems started. battery suddenly needs to be replaced and the charger just died on me.
I'm using the computer's last hour of battery to ask if anyone on campus happens to own a spare charger for a 13 inch macbook pro? i dunno about macs and if the chargers are different, but i'm kinda out of options since i don't even have the cash to buy another.
anyone think you can help? I'd appreciate it a ton, since i was typing up my midterm on this thing, and it's probably not gonna make it til the end of typing it up.
