Oh, there are just so many, but these make the top of my list (not necessarily in this particular order):
1) The Cure: "Just Like Heaven"
2) Journey: "Lovin' Touchin', Squeezin' "
3) Depeche Mode: "Shake the Disease"
4) Whitesnake: "Still of the Night"
5) Joan Jett & The Blackhearts: "I Love Rock n' Roll"
6) Duran Duran: "Girls on Film"
7) New Order: "Blue Monday"
8) Human League: "Don't You Want Me"
I know most traditional college-age students remember the 80's as being an era of bad fashion (who could forget the extreme shoulder pads and parachute pants?), Reagan, and the Commodore 64, but to me it will always be a time of innocence and a carefree childhood. These songs will always remind me of this time. :)
