Donations, Art Supply Help (DASH) Group?
Do you always have left over art supplies? Not enough?

Hi everyone,
I have attended many art classes throughout my years at school, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Community College, and I'm pretty sure my UMBC Classes.
Usually art supplies can get pretty expensive for the amount of time they are actually used... And if you are like me, a lot of times at the end of the course we are left over with supplies still salvageable. And before the next course, many of us pay for new supplies, for instance instead of a slightly blackened pink eraser which could be sandpapered to be almost as good as new.
Would anyone be interested in helping to create a group that takes donations of art supplies, and gives supplies to needy UMBC students who may not have the funds to afford the supplies? Probably limited to Art Majors.
So far I know it needs 5 interested students, and documents on how it would work and operate which part I'm not entirely sure of... But I feel it would be a good idea to try... I'm not too knowledgeable of campus groups, or where these supplies could be stored... But I do have a few ideas, for instance the need for students to show their class they are in which the art supplies are needed so these aren't just given out...
Would anyone be interested, perhaps we could talk more on the subject? Is this a good idea? Or do you think it will not work?
I just believe this group could help a few or many art students that need it.
David K?
P.S.: If you are interested in helping and want to talk about it further leave a post or email me at Krout1@umbc.edu
Just leave your College ID, Name, and/or College Email.
I may need the IDs (ex. "GH548989") for creating the group.

Also, the group name could definitely change.
