Adventure crew or outdoor enthusiasts (club): interested?
Collaborating camping, hiking, biking, climbing, ski, etc.

We need a stronger outdoor community here. Our sister schools have clubs and programs to promote the great outdoors as well as rental gear for EVERYONE (not just students).
I am trying to create a club here that will fulfill our need to get away from the computers and books every once in a while.
Goals:
1) Create a unified calendar/website/list serv for the public and for the already active clubs
2) Host beginner trips for the student body/faculty/staff
3) Base-camp for the weekend at place where different groups can hike/bike/climb during the day and meet back at night for s'mores.
4) Obtain RENTAL gear (donations?)
5) Get help making this happen by SPRING '11
6) Have epic fun
