I went to visit my sisters at James Madison University last weekend and I witnessed something I have never really seen at UMBC... school sprit. They all were united in a stadium singing their school's fight song. I made the realization that having a football team really helps students make a connection with the university, which is different than academic. People who think it will bring down the academic prowess of our school should look at stanford and harvard. They both support football programs. Do you believe UMBC should have a football team?
