Hey guys,
 my friends and I, who are majoring in the sciences, think it will be a splendid idea if there is a group of Black women, like ourselves, that are pursuing a degree in the sciences (whether in medicine, engineering, or social sciences etc) help each other out. The Black Women in Science is a result of the idea. Essentially the main purpose of the group is to help everyone in the organization attain our success in the sciences. We plan on distributing information about internships/jobs in the respective fields, and having guest speakers discuss their experiences in the various fields. Tutoring students that need help in classes / textbook sharing is also an idea that has been brought up. We would like to manifest our ideas. But we need to know, first, if people would be interested! Please let us know if this sounds like something you'll be interested in or not!  Thanks Guys!
